The RNV (Refocus Now Victoria) is hosting an established annual White Cane Day celebration in Victoria this year. We would like to invite you, your family/friends, and/or your group to this free public virtual event. Join us for WHITE CANE SAFETY DAY Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM

The mission of White Cane Day is to educate our community about blindness and how the blind and the visually impaired can live and work independently while giving back to their community. We want to

celebrate the abilities and successes achieved by blind people in a sighted world and honor the many contributions being made by the blind and visually impaired

Our goal is to educate the community and blind individuals about local, state, and national resources

Services, Accommodations, New and Innovative Adaptive Tools for gaining independence, confidence, and employment or an improvement with the quality of life. This will be a continued memorable event for our area and hope to see you in person or online.  By participating in this event, you will gain an increased awareness of blindness. You will also gain a different perspective of persons with blindness or visual impairments and their abilities towards improving the quality of their lives and becoming gainfully employed.

Please note:  We will be sure to set aside some time (upon request) for individuals that may need some guided assistance with navigating on the zoom platform or getting the One Tap Mobile info set up on their phones.
